Online Update 2010
This presentation by Paul Richer of Genesys looked at how companies are being creative with their online initiatives. One example looked at how a company used a game in Facebook to engage new users, another example saw a company using Twitter to provide customer support. Another case was the use of customer generated videos on Youtube. Some considerations and examples on how social media can provide both positive exposure as well as negative publicity and how to respond. Also looked at the rise of mobile platforms and predicted further growth in 2011.

Ask the Engines
Nate Bucholz from Google showed how users search for travel on the biggest search engine through five stages: dreaming, researching, booking, experience and sharing. Microsoft and Yahoo! explained the benefits of their search alliance.
